The lecture course is dedicated to the following topics:

·        Development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation

·        Yakutia’s regional development

·        Regions of the Northern Forum

·        Cultures of the indigenous peoples’ of the Russian Federation

·        Climate change

·        Problems of permafrost

·        Tourism in the Arctic

·        Transport infrastructure in the Arctic (Northern Sea Route)

The lectures will be held in the format of the videoconferencing, ZOOM platform. Lecture - 40 minutes and 20 minutes - discussion, questions.

Payment for participation: 100 EUR

Language: English (lectures in English or Russian with simultaneous translation into English)

Graduate students and young scientists interested in Arctic issues, regional development of the Russian Federation, climate change, culture and ethnography of indigenous peoples (issues of international cooperation, geography, biology, ecology, tourism, history, ethnography, anthropology, etc.)
