Each semester, NEFU welcomes exchange students from our partner universities from all over the world. You can experience life and culture of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the biggest republic of Russian Federation. We are looking forward to see you in our university! Please contact our International Relations office if you need any information or have any questions.

 

How to Apply

First, your home institution must approve you. NEFU participates in multiple exchange programs with partner universities around the world. Please check the list of partner universities

Once approved by your home institution you can submit your documents through the Online Application. Please be sure to include all required documents with your application.

Application Deadlines: 

For Fall semester, apply by June 30; 
For Spring semester, apply by October 30.

 

Once you applied, please contact International Relations office to confirm your application. If you are admitted to the Program, we will send you and your university coordinator an Invitation letter via email.

OUTGOING MOBILITY

Every year more than 300 students and postgraduates of NEFU take part in exchange programs, as well as in such mobility programs as the north2north scholarship of the University of the Arctic, the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for internship abroad, the scholarship of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, scholarship programs of the Governments of China, the Republic of Korea and Japan, the Erasmus + program of the European Union, etc. At the expense of the endowment fund, the university has developed its own scholarship program for academic mobility of students and postgraduates "NEFU academic mobility", which finances scientific and educational internships in universities - partners of NEFU. Basically, our students go on internships to partner universities in China (28%), Republic of Korea (26%), France (12%), universities of the University of the Arctic, Japan, etc.
