NEFU student took part in the VIII St. Petersburg International Gas Forum

On October 2-4, the 4th “Youth Day: Dialogue of Generations” took place at “ExpoForum” exhibition center. Alina Vasilieva, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Geology and Survey of North-Eastern Federal University, was invited to participate. The event was held within the frameworks of the VIII St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.

“Youth Day: Dialogue of Generations” gives students from all over the world the opportunity to show their leadership and professional skills, as well as to communicate with famous people from leading energy companies.

“I met very talented future specialists in my field from around the world at the forum, as well as current top managers and engineers. I would like to note the organization of this event: the forum was held at the highest level”, said Alina Vasilieva.

She also noted that during the event there was an off-tie meeting with Gazprom Chairman Aleksey Miller and the leaders of the leading energy companies in Europe. “Students asked questions on various topics of interest: from the further development of the industry and the role of the new generation in it, to personal questions to the speakers about their success stories”, added NEFU student.

Youth Day is a unique informational, intellectual and polemical event which is intended to unite representatives of the industry’s business elite and best students from different universities to identify new vectors of the gas industry development and the career opportunities for talented young people.
