ПОЛОЖЕНИЕ О КОНКУРСЕ

АКТУАЛЬНОСТЬ, ЦЕЛИ И ЗАДАЧИ

Актуальность:

POLARIS - это инициатива, призванная поддержать и стимулировать исследовательскую деятельность и научные исследования среди школьников. В современном мире, где наука играет всё более важную роль, подготовка будущих поколений учёных и новаторов становится критически важной. Участие в конкурсе помогает учащимся углубить свои знания в выбранной области исследования и приобрести навыки, необходимые для дальнейшей научной карьеры.

Учредителем конкурса является кафедра французской филологии Института зарубежной филологии и регионоведения Северо-Восточного федерального университета им. М.К. Аммосова.

Цели конкурса:

1.        развитие творческих способностей, познавательной активности, интереса к обучению и коммуникативной компетенции;

2.        повышение общего уровня проектной и исследовательской деятельности в школе;

3.        содействие интеграции предметных областей знаний в процессе образования школьников через деятельностный подход;

4.        выявление наиболее успешного опыта организации проектной и исследовательской деятельности учащихся и его освоение учителями школы.

Задачи конкурса:

1.        выявлять талантливых учащихся, обеспечивать их поддержку и поощрение, общественное признание ученической проектной и научно-исследовательской деятельности;

2.        содействовать раннему раскрытию интересов и склонностей учащихся к научно-исследовательской деятельности;

3.        повышать профессионализм педагогов, деятельность которых связана с формированием научного мышления у учащихся, их общественное признание и возможность самореализации;

4.        создавать условия для вовлечения в проектную и исследовательскую деятельность учащихся разных возрастов;

СРОКИ:

Первый тур: материалы направляются на экспертную комиссию до 12 марта 2024 г. на почту polaris-conference@mail.ru

Второй тур: защита научных работ в рамках специальной секции Всероссийской научно-практической конференции с международным участием «XIX СЕМЕНОВСКИЕ ЧТЕНИЯ - 2024 г.», которая пройдет 19 марта 2024 г. с 14 часов в Республиканском медиа-центре «Сахамедиа» по адресу: г.Якутск, ул. Орджоникидзе, 31.

ФОРМАТ КОНКУРСА:

I этап - Международный заочный тур;

II этап - Всероссийский очный тур (с международным участием) в гибридном формате (очно в республиканском медиа-центре «Сахамедиа» (см. выше) и по видеоконференцсвязи).

УРОВНИ ОБУЧЕНИЯ:

К участию в конкурсе приглашаются учащиеся школ

 с 7 по 11 класс.

НАУЧНЫЕ НАПРАВЛЕНИЯ:

1. Филология: включает в себя исследование литературных произведений, их авторов, жанров, стилей, истории и культуры.

2. Лингвистика: охватывает анализ языковых систем, структур, функций, изменений, взаимодействий и вариаций.

3. Проблемы перевода: языковые и культурные барьеры, возникающие при интерпретации оригинального текста переводчиком, специфика перевода устойчивых выражений, проблема перевода игры слов, непереводимое в переводе.

4. Актуальные вопросы литературы: широкий круг проблем, связанный с осмыслением основных тенденций развития современной литературы, стилистическими, жанровыми особенностями литературы.

5. Социолингвистика: изучение влияния социальных факторов на языковое поведение, идентичность, нормы и отношения.

6. Межкультурная коммуникация: включает в себя исследование способов и проблем общения между представителями разных культур, ценностей, убеждений и обычаев.

7. Туризм: включает в себя исследование туристических ресурсов, потребностей, мотиваций, воздействий и перспектив в разных регионах и странах.

8. Психолингвистика: включает в себя исследование психологических процессов, связанных с языком, таких как восприятие, понимание, производство, запоминание и обучение и т.д.

9. Лингвокультурология: включает в себя взаимосвязь языка и культуры, изучая культурные особенности языка, влияние культуры на языковые нормы, межкультурные различия в языке и коммуникации, также другие аспекты лингвокультурологии.

10. Преподавание иностранных языков: проблемы преподавания иностранного языка в школе, новаторские приемы, формы и методы обучения иностранным языкам и т.д.

НОМИНАЦИИ И КРИТЕРИИ ОЦЕНКИ:

При подготовке и отправке работы необходимо определиться с номинацией:

1. Научный дебют: оцениваются научная значимость, оригинальность и актуальность научных исследований, проведённых студентами или молодыми учёными на начальном этапе научной карьеры.

2. Научно-исследовательский инсайт: оцениваются научная значимость, оригинальность и новизна идей, которые привели к созданию инновационного продукта или решению реальной проблемы.

3. Лучшая исследовательская работа с практической новизной: оцениваются научная значимость, оригинальность и новизна идей, методов и подходов, применяемых в решении практических задач.

4. Лучшее творческое исследование: оцениваются научная значимость, оригинальность и новизна творческих идей и подходов, применяемых для решения научных задач.

5. Лучшее исследование на иностранном языке: оцениваются научная значимость, оригинальность и новизна идей, а также качество иноязычного текста научной работы.

6. Оригинальный взгляд на проблему исследования: оцениваются научная значимость, оригинальность и новизна подхода к решению актуальной научной проблемы.

Чтобы принять участие в конкурсе, нужно выполнить несколько простых шагов. Сначала заполните заявку на участие. Если заявка не открывается, то просто отправьте её на наш электронный адрес polaris-conference@mail.ru в формате doc (скачайте заявку здесь). В заявке укажите: ФИО авторов, класс, место учёбы, ФИО, должность научного руководителя, электронную почту, название проекта, название направления. После этого сразу отправьте свой проект на тот же адрес polaris-conference@mail.ru.

ТРЕБОВАНИЯ К ОФОРМЛЕНИЮ НАУЧНЫХ РАБОТ

1. Документ должен быть выполнен в формате текстового редактора с расширением doc, docx. Название файла должно содержать Фамилию и Имя первого автора. Например: Иванов Иван.doc/docx.

2. Шрифт Times New Roman, кегль 14 и межстрочный интервал 1. Поля: верхнее и нижнее – 20 мм, левое и правое – 20 мм, абзацный отступ 10 мм (не используя пробел и tab), книжная ориентация, автоматический перенос, номер ссылки на литературу и страницы в квадратных скобках: [1, 15].

3. Рисунки и графики должны иметь чёткое изображение и быть выдержаны в черно-белой гамме.

4. Работа должна содержать следующую выходную информацию:

• название доклада (первая строка, симметрично по центру);

• на следующей строке симметрично по центру — фамилия, имя и отчество автора;

• на следующей строке симметрично по центру — полное название школы, класс;

• текст работы (выравнивание по ширине);

• список использованной литературы в алфавитном порядке

• ФИО и должность научного руководителя (справа внизу).

5. Общий объем статей – не более 5,0 машинописных страниц (лист формата А4), включая выходную информацию и список использованной литературы.

6. Работы должны быть тщательно отредактированы с учётом правил русского языка.

В конкурсе могут быть определены различные места в зависимости от итогов оценки участников.

Места включают в себя:

Победитель конкурса (1, 2, 3 места) — это участники, которые набрал наивысшее количество баллов.

Лауреат конкурса (4-10 места) — это участники, которые заняли места с 4-го по 10-е в рейтинге конкурса.

Дипломанты конкурса (11-15 места) — это участники, которые заняли места с 11-го по 15-е в рейтинге конкурса.

Сертификаты участия — это документы, которые могут быть выданы всем участникам конкурса в знак признания их участия в мероприятии.

COMPETITION REGULATIONS

RELEVANCE, OBJECTIVES, AND TASKS

Relevance:

POLARIS is an initiative aimed at supporting and stimulating research activity and scientific research among school students. In the modern world, where science plays an increasingly important role, preparing future generations of scientists and innovators becomes critically important. Participation in the competition helps students deepen their knowledge in their chosen field of research and acquire skills necessary for further scientific careers. The competition is initiated by the Department of French Philology of the Institute of Foreign Philology and Regional Studies of North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov.

Objectives of the competition:

1. Development of creative abilities, cognitive activity, interest in learning, and communicative competence.

2. Improvement of the overall level of project and research activities in schools.

3. Promotion of the integration of subject areas of knowledge in the process of students' education through an activity-based approach.

4. Identification of the most successful experience in organizing project and research activities of students and its adoption by school teachers.

Tasks of the competition:

1. Identifying talented students, providing them with support and encouragement, and gaining public recognition for student project and research activities.

2. Promoting early discovery of interests and inclinations of students towards research activities.

3. Enhancing the professionalism of teachers whose activities are related to the formation of scientific thinking in students, their public recognition, and opportunities for self-realization.

4. Creating conditions for involving students of different ages in project and research activities.

DEADLINES:

First round: materials are submitted to the expert commission until March 12, 2024, by email to polaris-conference@mail.ru.

Second round: defense of scientific papers within the special section of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "XIX SEMENOV READINGS - 2024", which will be held on March 19, 2024, starting from 14:00 at the Republican Media Center "Sakhamedia" at the address: Yakutsk, Ordzhonikidze St., 31.

COMPETITION FORMAT:

Stage I - International online stage;

Stage II - All-Russian in person round (with international participation) in a hybrid format (in person at the Republican Media Center "Sakhamedia" (see above) and via video conferencing).

LEVELS OF EDUCATION:

Students from 7th to 11th grades are invited to participate in the competition.

RESEARCH AREAS:

1. Philology: includes the study of literary works, their authors, genres, styles, history, and culture.

2. Linguistics: covers the analysis of language systems, structures, functions, changes, interactions, and variations.

3. Translation issues: linguistic and cultural barriers encountered by translators in interpreting the original text, the specificity of translating idiomatic expressions, the problem of translating wordplay, untranslatable elements in translation.

4. Current issues in literature: a wide range of problems related to understanding the main trends in the development of contemporary literature, stylistic and genre features of literature.

5. Sociolinguistics: the study of the influence of social factors on language behavior, identity, norms, and relations.

6. Intercultural communication: includes the study of ways and problems of communication between representatives of different cultures, values, beliefs, and customs.

7. Tourism: includes the study of tourism resources, needs, motivations, impacts, and perspectives in different regions and countries.

8. Psycholinguistics: includes the study of psychological processes related to language, such as perception, understanding, production, memory, and learning, etc.

9. Linguaculturology: includes the relationship between language and culture, studying the cultural characteristics of language, the influence of culture on language norms, intercultural differences in language and communication, as well as other aspects of linguaculturology.

10. Teaching foreign languages: problems of teaching a foreign language in school, innovative techniques, forms, and methods of teaching foreign languages, etc.

NOMINATIONS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA:

During the preparation and submission of the work, it is necessary to determine the nomination:

1. Scientific Debut: scientific significance, originality, and relevance of scientific research conducted by students or young scientists at the early stage of their scientific career.

2. Scientific Research Insight: scientific significance, originality, and novelty of ideas that have led to the creation of an innovative product or the solution to a real problem.

3. Best Research Work with Practical Novelty: scientific significance, originality, and novelty of ideas, methods, and approaches applied in solving practical tasks.

4. Best Creative Research: scientific significance, originality, and novelty of creative ideas and approaches used to solve scientific tasks.

5. Best Research in a Foreign Language: scientific significance, originality, and novelty of ideas, as well as the quality of the foreign language text of the scientific work.

6. Original Approach to Research Problem: scientific significance, originality, and novelty of the approach to solving an actual scientific problem.

5	Quality of Results	The presence of structured conclusions in accordance with the goals and objectives set at the beginning of the work.	5

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTRIBUTION:

1 project: 400 rubles

The cost includes electronic diplomas for all project authors, acknowledgments to scientific supervisors (if their details are provided when filling out the application).

To participate in the competition, follow these simple steps. First, fill out the participation form. If the form does not open, simply send it to our email address polaris-conference@mail.ru in doc format (download the form here). In the application, specify: authors' full names, class, school name, full name, position of the academic supervisor, email, project title, research direction. After that, immediately send your project to the same address polaris-conference@mail.ru.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FORMAT OF SCIENTIFIC WORKS:

1. The document should be in doc or docx format. The file name should contain the Last Name and First Name of the first author. For example: Ivanov Ivan.doc/docx.

2. Font: Times New Roman, size 14, line spacing 1. Margins: top and bottom – 20 mm, left and right – 20 mm, paragraph indentation 10 mm (without using space or tab), portrait orientation, automatic hyphenation, reference number and page numbers in square brackets: [1, 15].

3. Figures and graphs should have clear images and be in black and white.

4. The work should contain the following output information:

   - title of the report (first line, centered);

   - the next line centered – last name, first name, and patronymic of the author;

   - the next line centered – full name of the school, class;

   - text of the work (justified);

   - alphabetical list of references;

   - full name and position of the academic supervisor (bottom right).

5. The total volume of articles should not exceed 5.0 typewritten pages (A4 format), including output information and the list of references.

6. The works should be carefully edited in accordance with the rules of the Russian language.

Different places may be determined in the competition depending on the final assessment of the participants.

Places include:

Competition Winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd places) – participants who have scored the highest number of points.

Competition Laureate (4th-10th places) – participants who have ranked from 4th to 10th in the competition rating.

Competition Diplomats (11th-15th places) – participants who have ranked from 11th to 15th in the competition rating.

Participation Certificates – documents that may be issued to all competition participants in recognition of their participation in the event.
