Approaching the international conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of P. A. Oyunsky

There are only a little more than two weeks prior to the International Conference "Yakut Heroic Epos Olonkho, a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in the Context of World Eposes " (18-20th of June).

The conference take participate 32 participants from abroad and from the regions of Russia Federation 19 participants from 9 countries (USA, Japan, Korea, Poland, etc.). Among the invited renowned scientists, directors of research centers, university professors. The conference is held under the auspices of UNESCO. From UNESCO invited experts to participate in the conference.

The purpose of the conference - is promotion Yakut heroic epos Olonkho and strengthening the international status of scientific research in the field of epic studies, linguistics and folklore, the development of international cooperation and joint research projects.

The conference will be held in 6 workshops:

Workshop 1. Epic heritage of the peoples of the world: the scientific study of topical issues.

Workshop 2. The monuments of world epics: a modern interpretation and the conservation, distribution.

Workshop 3. Epics of the world: the problems of translation into the languages ​​of the peoples of the world.

Workshop 4. World epics in literature and art.

Workshop 5. Olonkho heroic epic in the context of an epic heritage of the peoples of the world.

Workshop 6. Epics of the world in modern educational space: problems and prospects.

The participants of conference will visit the Republican festival “Ysyakh Olonho”, which takes place in the countryside Urasalaah in Megino Kangalassky district (20th of June). Also, guests and participants of the conference will be cultural program including a tour of the capital, visiting the theater Olonkho exhibition "Treasury of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)” and a unique tourist destination, "The kingdom of permafrost ".
