Since February 19 to 22, Professor of North-Eastern Federal University and Doctor of Philosophy of Oxford University Sotiros Endryu Musalimas spoke at Kazan Federal University with public lectures on academic English for masters, graduate students and young scientists. The meetings took place within the framework of an agreement on the networking cooperation of federal universities in Russia.
The professor gave two lectures. The topic of the first was the analysis of the structure of publications, the professor gave advice on the development of individual parts of the article, and the second presentation was devoted to the ways of publishing articles in the SCOPUS and WoS databases for free. Sotiros Endryu Musalimas shared his experience of finding ways for publishing publications in high-ranking journals.
According to NEFU International Relations Office, cooperation between the universities was made possible by the invitation of Deputy Director of the Higher School of Economics and Law for the scientific work of Naberezhnye Chelny KFU Institute Rasulya Aetdinova. "NEFU and KFU are working together in the field of continuous vocational education. In 2017 and 2018, the universities prepared three joint applications for grants of the Erasmus + program. Within the framework of the visit, issues of further cooperation on participation in foreign grants, internal national mobility of students and teachers between NEFU and KFU were discussed", said Nikolay Artemiev, Deputy Head of NEFU International Relations Office.
Within the frameworks of the visit, Professor Sotiros Endryu Musalimas was the main speaker of the round table "The Role of Traditional Religions in the Postmodern Age", got acquainted with the archives of N.I. Lobachevsky Research Library of Kazan Federal University, visited the Engineering Center and Elabuga Institute of KFU.
