On January 25, North-Eastern Federal University opened a photo exhibition "NEFU, a top-flight university" as part of the celebration of the Day of Russian Students. The exposition is situated at the airport "Yakutsk" and presents about 80 photographs reflecting the life of the university.
According to Nikita Argylov, the Head of NEFU Department of Media Policies, the idea of the exhibition is to show the transformation of NEFU - how provincial Yakut State University has become the highest school of the federal level - students from 58 regions of Russia and 28 countries of the world come to study there. "We have chosen the international airport "Yakutsk" for an exhibition not by accident, it is the gate of our city, of our republic. Thanks to the photo exhibition, visitors are able now to see all the transformations taking place at NEFU", Nikita Argylov shared.
On behalf of the administration of the airport, Ekaterina Solovieva, congratulated students and the event participants with the Day of Students, "We all agree that the future of the city, the republic and the country is in the hands of young people, the younger generation. I am sure that NEFU projects will bear fruit and contribute to the social and economic development of the region. We are glad that we can get acquainted with the life of the university through these photographs."
The photo exhibition "NEFU, a top-flight university" tells about the life of students and professors of the Ammosov University, its history and development. It acquaints residents and guests of Yakutsk with the global goals set by the university as a major center of attraction for young people, science, culture and sports.
