Yakut cosmetic products of the brand "YCL" of the company "Taba" on the basis of the reindeer antlers were awarded the gold medal of the prestigious international exhibition of cosmetics InterCHARM. One of the authors of the product is Konstantin Stepanov, chief research fellow of the Research Institute of Health of North-Eastern Federal University.
A gold medal was awarded for the development of cosmetics based on rare natural ingredients. According to the scientific consultant of the company Konstantin Stepanov, the feature of the cosmetic line is the addition of reindeer antlers, which include minerals, amino acids, peptides, lipid fraction and nucleic acid bases.
The conducted studies showed that the reindeer antlers contain about 80 biologically active components necessary for human health. "The action of these substances is aimed at the awakening and activation of the body's internal reserves. In addition, antlers are carriers of beneficial information that is perceived by human cells, correcting many problems", said the employee of NEFU Research Institute of Health.
The scientist emphasizes that the ability to correctly pick the time for collecting antlers from each reindeer provides the qualitative, most effective products. The company cooperates with the hereditary reindeer breeders of the North to get high quality raw materials.
XIV International Exhibition of Perfumery and Cosmetics InterCHARM was held from 25 to 28 October in Moscow. The exhibition was attended by 1,174 companies from 37 countries.
