From July 11 to 18, the creative student groups of the Cultural Center of North-Eastern Federal University within the frameworks of the international cultural exchange program performed in four cities of South Korea: Eumseong, Seoul, Envol and Danchin.

In 2016, Yakutia launched a cultural exchange program with South Korea, due to which it became possible to exchange experiences and implement joint projects with South Korean colleagues. This year the delegation sent to Korea included NEFU creative groups.

All the concerts were sold out: the songs, dances and costumes of the artists caused quite a stir. Students were worried before each performance, like the first time, according to the head of the delegation of the federal university Svetlana Nikiforova.

According to the Director of NEFU Cultural Center, cultural programs contribute to mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries. "It has been said that the cultural bridges are the strongest. They help us to understand each other better, lay a solid foundation of friendly relations on a personal, human level, so we are happy that we were a part of an important program", said Svetlana Nikiforova.
