Applicant - 2020: NEFU will accept applications in electronic form

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, an application for admission to North-Eastern Federal University and all necessary documents will be accepted in electronic form, according to the head of NEFU Central Admission Committee Elizaveta Ilyina.

As noted by Elizaveta Ilyina, in connection with the epidemiological situation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation adopted significant changes in the procedure for entering a higher educational institution. “Admission to NEFU will begin on June 20, the date of issuing an order for admission will depend on the schedule of the Unified State Exams. Therefore, it is too early to say when an order for admission of students will be issued,” she noted.

To submit documents electronically, prospective applicants need to scan them. University entrance examinations will be held using distance technologies, the head noted: “In addition to usual documents, for example, a medical certificate, exam results, applicants can send their personal achievements for additional points: the diplomas of the winner and winner of competitions or olympiads organized by NEFU are taken into account. Individual achievements in sports, volunteering and so on are also taken into account. Each achievement must be confirmed by a certificate or diploma."

Let us remember that you can find the necessary information about admission on the website of NEFU Central Admission Committee. In addition, every day until April 30 from 5:00 p.m., graduates and their parents can join a video conference on the ZOOM platform. An applicant who wants to ask a question not online can leave it on the official NEFU accounts under a post or in the stories about the professional marathon: Vkontakte, Twitter and Instagram. Videos of previous conferences can be viewed here.

On April 30, NEFU Rector Anatoly Nikolaev will meet with future students online. He will answer questions from applicants and their parents.
