Will a PVC dome help if you live in areas with extremely cold temperatures? Scientists of North-Eastern Federal University decided to answer this question and placed the house inside a special construction. TASS told about the experiment, its organizers and the main participant.

The house under the dome is a joint idea of ​​scientists of M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU) and the “Sinet” group of companies. The dome is a five-ton structure, built around a one-storey house with a garage. The project initiators expect to receive data on the possibility of using dome structures for various buildings and engineering facilities in severe climatic conditions.
