On September 14, the Freshman Day was held at the “Yunost” stadium of North-Eastern Federal University. NEFU Rector Anatoly Nikolaev congratulated future specialists on entering one of ten federal universities.

This year, over 4,500 freshmen joined the large NEFU team, said Anatoly Nikolaev. “The university is a very unique aura, a large family that constantly interacts with each other in education and science, he said. - Today, more than 19 thousand people study at NEFU - we will do everything to make you enjoy studying here.”

The rector encouraged freshmen to be active and efficient. “Study at the university consists not only of lectures and homework, it is also real scientific expeditions, social activities, big competitions - in a word, where the action is,” he noted. - We are a large scientific, expert and analytical center. NEFU is an attraction not only for students, but also for youth as a whole.”

Anatoly Nikolaev noted that the student days is remembered for a lifetime and wished the youth good luck and love. “Studentship is a special time, and from this day you enter into a bright and intense life. Love each other, because friends with whom you will be friends as students will be the best friends to you for life. Good luck, good health and good luck!”, he added.

The holiday gathered more than 7,000 students at the “Yunost” stadium. Let us remember, that this year the freshmen parade is dedicated to the 10th NEFU anniversary and is held in a charity format - an entrance ticket for the evening program cost 100 rubles, and all proceeds will go to charity to the Dutkin family.
