The author of the project is a 5-year student of the Department of General Medicine at NEFU Medical Institute Leonid Zhozhikov. The project has won place in the final of Start-SUV 2019 as part of Startup Village.

“MyLiver is a project of an artificial liver produced by reprogramming of fibroblasts into liver cells. According to the WHO, every third patient in the queue for liver transplantation dies without the donor. An artificial liver will help people with decompensated liver failure to improve their quality of life and prolong it, replacing liver function while the patient is waiting for a donor. Among other projects, he noted many repetitive in the field of quality control personnel and two or three really interesting in the field of medicine and IT,” said Leonid Zhozhikov.

The second winner of Startup Village in Skolkovo was the application for run track. “Great news from the international innovation forum Startup Village, which is currently taking place in Skolkovo.
