Resident of NEFU AIC won a two million grant

The resident of the Arctic Innovation Center at North-Eastern Federal University of SIB LLC Autonomous Technologies won in the Startup Village final in Skolkovo. The grant was two million rubles.

According to Nikolay Potapov, Director General of the company, he received feedback in the form of contracts with distributors for the purchase of large quantities of robots. “We are a cleaning company that cleans the territory, washes the floors, but does it not only in the traditional way, but also with the help of innovations. Our developers are NEFU students, scientists and even schoolchildren have created a lot of R & D to develop this VeDroid product. It is important that we make equipment with high efficiency, but at competitive prices,” commented Nikolay Potapov.

In total, 3 Yakut projects were presented in the competition, there is a biotechnological hemofiltration module with liver function among the projects. The author of the project is a 5-year student of the Department of General Medicine at NEFU Medical Institute Leonid Zhozhikov. The project has won place in the final of Start-SUV 2019 as part of Startup Village.

“MyLiver is a project of an artificial liver produced by reprogramming of fibroblasts into liver cells. According to the WHO, every third patient in the queue for liver transplantation dies without the donor. An artificial liver will help people with decompensated liver failure to improve their quality of life and prolong it, replacing liver function while the patient is waiting for a donor. Among other projects, he noted many repetitive in the field of quality control personnel and two or three really interesting in the field of medicine and IT,” said Leonid Zhozhikov.

The second winner of Startup Village in Skolkovo was the application for run track. “Great news from the international innovation forum Startup Village, which is currently taking place in Skolkovo. Our resident projects of IT-Park and Accelerator B8 - Autonomous Technologies company and RunGo company - became winners of the Start SUV 2019 finals and won 2 million rubles from the Innovation Assistance Fund. Congratulations to the guys and wish them further victories and success!”- wrote the Minister in his Instagram account.
