On October 2 to 4, the International Multidisciplinary Conference “Far East Con-2018” will be held at North-Eastern Federal University, participants will discuss current issues of our time in four areas.

The purpose of the event is to inform scientists and practitioners about the most promising areas of research and achievements in the field of industrial engineering. “We hope that the conference will become traditional in the Far East and will involve more and more scientists and representatives of the large industrial enterprises. The Far East Con conference unites us in different cities to solve problems, global problems of the region and the country – such as the development of the Arctic, environmental, social and economic problems”, said Valentina Bessonova, Head of the Scientific Publications Department of NEFU Research Management.

According to preliminary data, NEFU sent 47 scientific papers to participate in the Far East Con-2018. The organizers of the event note that the selected studies will be published in journals indexed by the Scopus scientometric base and the Web of Science.

The participants to work in the following areas: "Earth Sciences", "Automation and Energy", "Materials Science and Construction", "Economics and Production", including a plenary session.

NEFU is a partner of Far East Con-2018, which will be held simultaneously in Vladivostok, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk and Moscow with the support of leading Far Eastern universities.
