On May 8, a meeting of Evgenia Mikhailova, Interim Rector of North-Eastern Federal University, with the scientific and pedagogical delegation of St. Dominique Xavier’s College from France was held.

Evgenia Mikhailova noted that she is very happy to see representatives of the St. Dominique Xavier’s College, who had to overcome a long distance for this meeting. "Our university cooperates with many universities worldwide - with China, France, England, South Korea, America and so on. It is very gratifying that thanks to Elena Mikhailova's enthusiasm, the partnership between our university and your college was started. I hope that the execution of the agreement will lead to close cooperation", said NEFU Interim Rector.

Madame Nguyen, director of the St. Dominique Xavier’s College, said that the students of her educational institution were always ready for adventure and had no difficulties in organizing the trip. She thanked the interim rector for the opportunity to get acquainted with the university and Yakutia in general. "This partnership, which at first seemed an incredible event, became possible thanks to our joint ambitions and the wish to develop our students, to show them the world and enrich their inner world. I am very grateful to you for the invitation", said the college director.

During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between NEFU and the French college St. Dominique Xavier, which was a continuation of the three-year agreement signed in 2015.
