Winners of the business game "Students VS Specialists" will go to Germany

On April 6, the results of the business game "Students VS Specialists" were summed up at North-Eastern Federal University within the frameworks of the All-Russian forum with international participation "Transport Systems and Road Infrastructure of the Far North". The winning team received an internship in Germany.

According to the results, the team "Bears" of Arkady Mukhametov, Vadim Kardashevsky, Afanasy Postnikov and Dmitry Alekseyev won. As a reward, the guys will be sent for an internship in the engineering company "Wirtgen" in Germany.

"To be honest, I did not expect victory and was surprised, although I had encountered similar tasks earlier doing term papers, so I was ready for such tasks", the captain of the winning team, a second-year student Arkady Mukhametov shared his impressions.

The game consisted of three case studies and was conducted with the support of Glavstroy. Participants had to work out a schedule of capital repairs of Yakutsk streets, select the composition of the organic and mineral mixture and draw up a technological map for the excavation work for the repair of the Vilyui highway, and also propose a project for repairing the regional public road and make temporary road passes and temporary detours of Yakutsk streets.

The students of the Road Faculty of all courses took part in the conference. Six teams were represented, each consisted of four participants. Teams formed by the drawing of lots, which was held on April 4. That day, the students received tasks, and the next day they made presentations of the teams, after which the participants were able to ask the questions to the members of the expert jury, which included the leading expert of the highways of the State Unitary Enterprise "Department of Roads of the RS (Y)" Sergey Kopylov and the director of the LLC "Investdorstroy" Yakov Sidorov.
