Aryyan Tyutrin, a student at the Institute of Sports and Physical Education of North-Eastern Federal University, became the bronze medalist at the World Championship - the wrestler took the third place. At the championship, the athlete represented the national team of Belarus in the weight category of 57 kg.

Ivan Dmitriev, coach of the Center for Sports Training of National Teams of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), said that they have been working with Aryyan Tyutrin for almost 12 years. The coach emphasized that the bronze award was the result of their years of work.

“It took us a long time. Wrestler Viktor Lebedev won the medal of the World Championship for Yakutia in 2015. And now, after a long break, Aryyan Tyutrin won the bronze medal for the republic. He is a goal-oriented, disciplined and motivated person. Now our goals are the World and European Championships and the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024,” commented coach Ivan Dmitriev.

Aryyan Tyutrin shared that he assesses his performance as average. The athlete believes that hard work and desire to win helped him to achieve such success. “During the competition, I thought only about winning. Character, dedication and discipline are important in our sport. Every athlete has anxiety before a fight, but I was confident in my abilities. After a short rest, we will begin preparations for the championship of the Republic of Belarus, and then we’ll see,” commented Aryyan Tyutrin.
