Media about NEFU: from September 27 to October 3
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), airships and ground-effect vehicles could significantly facilitate the delivery of goods in the future as part of the northern delivery - annual large-scale transport operations for supplying goods to remote settlements in Siberia and the Far East. The prospects of alternative transport were one of the topics of discussion at the scientific and practical conference held as part of the Northern Forum in Yakutsk.
“New scientific progress allows to develop innovative technologies. IT technologies, remote positioning, remote sensing of the Earth, and high-speed Internet are developing actively. All this contributes to the development of unmanned technologies. It seemed fantastic 20-25 years ago, but now we can talk about UAVs,” said Yury Danilov, NEFU Vice Rector for Science and Innovations.
