This year, the Boiling Point of North-Eastern Federal University joined the All-Russian educational campaign on information technologies "IT Dictation 2021". The level of basic and advanced digital skills was tested by 370 students and employees of the head university of Yakutia.

“I answered 80% of the questions. It is very good that at the end of the test the participant can see what he answered correctly and where he made a mistake. Therefore, the dictation not only tests knowledge, but also teaches something new. I was surprised that the questions were non-standard. For example, on social networks. Next year I will definitely pass the IT dictation again,” said Maksim Tugulaev, administrator of NEFU Boiling Point Co-Working Center.

Vera Alvili, a student of the Faculty of Philology, participated in the IT dictation for the first time and scored 48 points out of 50. “It was interesting for me to test my knowledge, this action was a good experience for me. It is important to have digital competencies for a person of the 21st century, so I sent a link to the dictation to my friends and acquaintances. I was glad that the questions were not difficult. It means that I am good at modern technologies,” said Vera Alvili.

The IT dictation contains 32 test questions of various complexity levels. Participants from Russia and abroad test their knowledge of the basics of working with computer equipment and skills in using Internet resources, as well as their knowledge of such topics as blockchain and the Internet of Things. After passing the dictation, a certificate of participation is provided. The event is timed to the Day of the Programmer in Russia.
