NEFU research projects cover almost the full spectrum of areas relevant for the development of the Arctic: preservation of health and ensuring active longevity of northerners, medical genetics, cell technologies, regenerative medicine. Scientists explore the climate and ecosystems of the North, the remains of the mammoth fauna, engaged in paleogenetics, working to preserve and revitalize the languages and cultures of the Arctic peoples. The research in some areas is conducted in conjunction with leading universities nationwide and worldwide. Each project is unique.
