Expert of Ben-Gurion University: "The future of car market in drones"

World automakers and technology companies develop a promising market of unmanned vehicles, a fleet of such cars soon may reach 15 million units. Willie Abraham, a specialist at the University of Ben-Gurion, the Academy of Sapir (Israel), described this at online lecture for students and teachers of North-Eastern Federal University.

An expert in digital economy told students from profile faculties about the development of drones, the possibilities of 3D printing in industry, cooking and growing human living organs during the online lecture.

"Recently, the first samples of unmanned vehicles were presented in the world market. Soon the park of such cars, according to experts, will be more than 15 million units. World automakers and technology companies, including General Motors, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Volvo, Nissan, Tesla, Google, Cognitive Technologies, KamAZ and others, have already entered into the race for the market of drones", he said.

The organizers of the lecture series are the Department of Informatization and the Center of Digital Competences of NEFU. The next meeting will be held on June 5th, where representatives of Samsung Electronics within the framework of the social and educational program "IoT Academy Samsung" will talk about the Internet of things in Russia.
