For the last 20 years the faculty of postgraduate training of doctors of Medical institute became a peculiar training center for experts of health care. Annually more than 1200 people take  part in different  courses and  seminars.

The courses teachers are the qualified specialists of Medical institute, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Territorial fund of obligatory medical insurance of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Programs of courses, their contents are according to qualification requirements to workers of the health care, approved by Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

Students get the certificates of professional development of Northeastern federal university  named after M.K. Ammosov.
