On October 19, the historic park "Russia - My History" was opened in Yakutsk. The interactive platform will become an educational base for the younger generation, including students of North-Eastern Federal University.
The opening of the interactive history park is a great event for the whole republic, said NEFU rector Evgeniya Mikhailova. "The museum not only teaches and transmits knowledge and skills, but first of all it allows to become a participant of these events and perceive them better due to modern technologies", the rector said.
The museum works in close cooperation with the federal university - teachers of NEFU Faculty of History conduct excursions and lectures. "I am glad that the park is not far from the university, agricultural academy and other educational institutions. Classes for pupils and students will be held here - interactivity will allow children to easily learn the material. Modern technologies will help the younger generation to understand the heroic record of their republic, country and state", said the head of the university.
The rector stressed the importance of constant expansion of the base of the historical park. "Filling the content with films, historical archival documents is a hard work. Thanks to the work of the museum, not only the quality of knowledge of the history of its state will increase, but also the knowledge of modern technologies. I hope that the museum - the center of intelligence and spiritual development - will become one of the favorite and visited places of the residents of the city and the republic", said NEFU rector.
The historical park "Russia - My History" will open on October 20 for visitors.
