“Mix Space” project of Algys Buldakov, student of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of North-Eastern Federal University, on the establishment of mixed reality goggles will save on the purchase of expensive monitors.

Algys Buldakov, student of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of Ammosov University, will present mixed reality glasses in the competition of business projects Open Innovations Startup Tour. "The use of monitors in the field of IT limits the work. It is impractical and financially costly. We want to solve this issue using goggles, which will create displays of various formats and in any quantity in any space", he said.

According to the innovator, the goggles will be equipped with technologies such as video camera, projector and scanner, which will transmit data on a regular computer through Wi-Fi connection. "Due to the goggles the picture will be displayed in front of the user's eyes, and the whole process will be done by computer. They allow to manage digital information in an unlimited amount to create any number of holographic screens and objects around the user", said Algys Buldakov.

Currently, developers estimate their project at RUR 48 thousand. "Now we are working on the development of application, which will be the basis of goggles software, including the high data transfer. We are planning this year to release a prototype of goggles, and the next year to prepare 1000 experimental copies", said the student.
