Graduates from Zambia, Malaysia and Indonesia entered the Medical Institute

NEFU Medical Institute summarized the results of enrollment campaign: 246 students and 19 master students entered the institute, according to the Central Admission Committee of the university.

As noted by the institute, medical care and dentistry are still in demand. A passing grade was 72 and 71 points. On average, the average Unified State Exam was 67.5 points. "I am glad that graduates enrolled for the first year, 33 of them finished school with honors and 14 applicants - with honours degree of secondary medical education, including 16 winners of the North-East Competition conducted by the university", said Aleksandr Sleptsov, Associate Professor of NEFU Medical Institute.

"Medical and preventive care" specialty had the high level of enrollment competition - 7.8 people per one state-funded place. 37 people applied for medical specialties within the state order of the Republic. "This year, 19 international students entered the institute, including three citizens of foreign countries - Zambia, Malaysia and Indonesia", said the Associate Professor of the Institute.
