Japanese expert offered to open a special School for students of Natural and Technical Faculties at NEFU

Kawabe Tsunetaka, Director of the Japanese Company “Tokyo Boeki Technology”, offered to open a special School for students of Natural and Technical Faculties at NEFU. Japanese experts will teach students courses in NEFU priority areas. The parties discussed the possibilities for cooperation on January 29.

Federal University and the company intend to develop cooperation. At a meeting with Vasily Savvinov, the Vice Rector for Strategic Development, and Afanasiy Savvin, the Vice Rector for Innovative Development, Research and Technology Commercialization, the company director offered to open a school for students - future biologists and engineers, equipped with electron microscopes by JEOL for detailed study and conducting research activities. "In this case, we are ready to involve the Japanese experts for lectures on NEFU priority fields", Kawabe Tsunetaka suggested.

Within the framework of his visit to NEFU, the company director met with the heads of academic units of the university, visited the International Scientific and Educational Center of Biochemistry and Climatology BEST of the Institute of Natural Sciences, Arctic Innovation Center.
