Seven residents of NEFU Student Business Incubator and two Small Innovative Enterprises presented their projects in the preliminary stage of the Russian acceleration program “Russian Startup Tour”. The presentation of projects was held at “Yakutia” Technopark on January 28.

Not only experienced university scientists - Small Innovative Enterprises "Dary Yakutii" and "Mechanochemical technologies", but also the students, aspiring business people, presented their ideas. Sergucheva Veronika, graduate student of NEFU Institute of Engineering and Technologies, believes that children need new approaches of teaching.

"We have developed the project of educational mobile application for children from six years "Bukvik". Children learn to see the letters from all sides, to make the syllables in order to form the words. Modern life requires flexible thinking, needs all your wits about you. We want to develop the children's spatial thinking", Veronika Sergucheva said.

Future engineers Valeria Tolstoukhova and Namyyna Akimova developed the project of energy efficient home. "Loss of heat in a heat flow can be minimized by decreasing the surface area of the radiation. Therefore, we have created nine models of three different shapes and materials. Hemispherical shape contributes to lower heat transfer through the surface area and has the lowest climate exposure factor", student of NEFU Institute of Physics and Technologies said.

According to NEFU Arctic Innovation Center, this year Information Technology filed is in demand. Representative of the Innovation Center “Skolkovo” Anton Zhuplev participated in the project selection. The innovators of Yakutia defended 28 projects.

Russian Startup Tour winners will participate in the conference “Startup Village” in Moscow, and will share the prize fund of RUR 100 million, provided by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the scientific and technical fields.
