NEFU presented a trip to Moscow and Saint Petersburg to the best students

150 students who achieved the best results during their studies and research work and activists of NEFU’s sport and community received a trip to Moscow and Saint Petersburg to spend a holiday there. Group of 75 people are in Saint Petersburg, and the second group will fly to Moscow on 15th of January. Student development divisions of NEFU reports.

Students said that visiting the places of interest is not the only goal during their trip, another important point is to share their experiences with other students studying in universities in central Russia. Activists: “We have a tradition to conduct meeting with council of students of Herzen State Pedagogical University since 2011. In 12th of January, we have presented a working process of student government in NEFU, and were acquainted with plans of HSPU activists for this year. We shared experience and we made a cooperation agreement”.

“Trips were also given to students studying in NEFU branches in Neryungri and Mirniy. During these eventful and interesting days in the most marvelous city of Russia, students managed to unite and become a friendly family. Probably these holidays will become one of the most bright periods of their student life”, head of the group, leading specialist of NEFU student development division Aida Syachikova told. Among the heads of the group, there is a teacher-organizer of the campus Svetlana Guryeva and deputy director of educational work division of the NEFU Historical Faculty Anton Lvov.

During the Christmas holidays, NEFU students visited St. Isaac Cathedral, the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Kunstkamera, the Tsarskoe Selo State Museum-Preserve. They also met the team of Permament Representative of Sakha Republic’s office in Saint Petersburg.

The second student group of 75 people will go to Moscow and there they will visit places of interest in the capital of Russia and share experience with students from various Moscow universities.
