NEFU Faculty of Philology: Russian is a basis for the development of Korean-Russian relations

NEFU co-organized the International Conference "Humanitarian approach to the study of Korean-Russian relations", which opened in Seoul (Republic of Korea). Teachers of NEFU Faculty of Philology (FP) presented a report on the theory and practice of learning Russian as a foreign language (RFL).

"Strengthening of the Russian language in the world is a good motivation to study it. A lot of Russian teachers work at Korean universities, which greatly contributes to its quality education", participants noted.

At the conference, federal university was represented by FP Dean Galina Zhondorova, Professors Svetlana Petrova, Svetlana Zalutskaya, Associate Professor Anna Oshchepkova. "At the conference, Head of the Department "Russian as a foreign language" Svetlana Petrova told about the author's innovative teaching methods based on the literary semiotics. Teachers presented reports on human character in Russian literature, intercultural communication in vocational education of teacher, experimental prose of Russian literature of XX century", they say at the Faculty of Philology.

"Such meetings are important for the development of humanitarian relations between Russia and Korea. The search for breakthrough technologies in the teaching of Russian language, literature and culture will promote it", the conference delegates said.
