NEFU Sakha-Korean Forum: authors of five best projects will go to Seoul

From June 22 to July 5, Sakha-Korean Youth Forum will be held at the federal university. Students of NEFU, YSAA, including students of the Republic of Korea and guest lecturers to participate in the forum. The subject of the forum was the development of agriculture and infrastructural rural development.

"The forum will be useful to students for networking and the development of relations between the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Republic of Korea, including the prospects for future cooperation. Projects of our students will benefit to our republic", Director of NEFU Institute of the East Naina Ksenofontova said.

Fourteen Korean students from four universities to participate in the forum: Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Inha University, Sangmyung University, Myongji University. Fifteen people will represent Yakutia in the forum: 13 NEFU students and 2 YSAA students.

"The forum includes lectures of experts from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Ministry of Enterprise of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Besides NEFU lecturers, there will be lecturer from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Professor Kim Bong Chol. Korean students will conduct classes of the Korean language and culture for students. They will be held in the practice-oriented form, where students will learn about the culture and language through communication, video tutorials and a various games", Naina Ksenofontova said.

Participants of the forum will develop projects on infrastructural rural development. Five student-winners will be able to participate in the Youth Model Summit, which will be held in Seoul.
