The leader of the Russian IT business is interested in long-term cooperation with NEFU
On May 21, Softline held the presentation of the work-out portfolio for NEFU on the basis of SOTSBI teaching and research center at NEFU. A company representative presented a project on the basis of the federal university "IT Academy".
"It would be useful to educate and train students to work in the field of information technology. Needs of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the IT professionals who have not only a diploma of higher education, but also passed the qualifying exams of manufacturers are enormous. Qualifying certificates of software and equipment manufacturers are recognized worldwide, increase the competitiveness of NEFU graduates on labor market, not only in Russia, but also abroad. We will help to organize the cooperation of NEFU with the biggest software manufacturers", leading manager Andrey Podterob said.
Softline has also proposed a project to provide a complete package of programs for scientific computing. "This project involves the development of set of actions at NEFU, as a result of which NEFU research specialists, students, post-graduate students will be able to indicate that the calculations were made in compliance with international standards that are recognized around the world", the manager said.
"The main advantages of cooperation with the company for the university are the implementation of active and interactive forms of learning, the integration of curricula in terms of software training used and other", NEFU Head of Information Management said.
