From 22 to 27 June, North-Eastern Federal University to host the 3rd International Scientific and Educational Forum «Education, forward». The main topic will be "Teacher competence in the ХХI century". Education workers will discuss the methodology, modern educational technologies and methods.

"The priority trend of the development of modern pedagogical education is the transition from the qualifying approach in professional activity to the competency-based. Formation of professionalism of the teacher of the 21st century implies the need to ensure the competence, the interconnection of academic knowledge and practical skills", the organizers of the forum said.

The Forum considers the following issues: teacher competence in the 21st century as a condition of sustainable development of society; Problems and prospects of development of modern education; psychological and pedagogical support of teacher activities in a changing environment; development of the educational environment as an area of professional and personal development of the teacher; andragogical education: prospect and modernity; research activity of the teacher: innovation, development, productivity; spiritual and moral development and character education.

The forum to hold plenary sessions, discussions on modules, lectures, master classes, reports, poster presentations and speeches, storytelling: exhibition of multimedia presentations, projects, defense of the projects, exchange of experience, business meetings, cultural program. Also, the forum gives the opportunity to pass the short-term further training courses and long-term courses.

The Educational Forum will be open to teachers and heads of educational institutions, managers, NEFU academic teaching staff, scientific and pedagogical personnel of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the educational community and concerned parties.
