NEFU young scientists won grants of Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

A solemn public meeting dedicated to the Day of the Russian science was held at the Russian Drama Theatre named after A.S. Pushkin. A number of scientists and teachers of North-Eastern Federal University were awarded grants of the Republic Head.

Professor of NEFU Faculty of History Petr Troev was awarded the honorary title "Honored Scientist of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)", associate professor of the Institute of Languages and Culture of the Peoples of the North-East of the Russian Federation Kim Diachkovsky was conferred a decoration "Civil Valor". Young scientists of the federal university Pavel Vinokurov, Maksim Tereshchenko, Andrey Fedotov, Evgenia Ruban and Maksim Cheprasov were awarded grants of Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

"Preparing a new generation of scientific personnel is one of the major tasks of the national science in the XXI century. Medicine and ecology may be the promising fields", the Deputy of the State Duma, the first President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Mikhail Nikolaev said in his speech.
