22.6% of NEFU 2014 graduates planned to set up own business

HeadHunter Company, dealing with Internet recruitment, conducted a survey among students and young specialists of Yakutia. He revealed that 57% of respondents are aiming to set up their own business.

"We conduct an annual survey of graduate students about their plans for future employment, the head of NEFU Career Center Lyudmila Uvarova said. - As of 2014, 22.6% of the total number of NEFU graduates expressed a wish to become the entrepreneurs. Data among faculties and institutions vary significantly. Thus, 58.9% among the graduates of Engineering and Technical Institute want to set up a business in the future. In general, graduates of technical specialties are interested in developing business".

NEFU Career Center noted that the majority of young specialists adequately estimate the level of their future salaries. Only 9.1% of graduates expect the salary of more than RUR 50,000. The vast majority expect their future income in the range of RUR 20,000 to 40,000.
