Taipei Medical University and NEFU intend to cooperate in the field of training

The federal university takes part in the X Annual International Conference - Exhibition of the higher education leaders in the Asia-Pacific region of QS-APPLE in Taiwan. Taipei Medical University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University became interested in NEFU educational programs.

"About 600 educational organizations from around the world presented their activity at the exhibition. The exhibition serves as a starting point to start cooperation between universities, there are negotiations on the organization of exchange programs, joint researches, involvement of foreign students and teachers. QS-APPLE company is known that annually publishes a world ranking of universities therefore the federal university was thoroughly prepared for participation in the exhibition", the chief specialist of NEFU Strategic Development Department Tatiana Volkova said.

The university delegation met professors of Taipen Medical University Nai Wen Kuo, the Vice-Chairman of Medical School Dzyu-Yu Wu. The parties discussed possibilities of cooperation in carrying out medical researches, development of joint educational programs, an exchange of students and graduate students. Specialists of higher education institutions intend to sign on cooperation agreement. In addition, the director of NEFU Medical Institute Palmira Petrova took part on the round table organized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University – where prospects of the international cooperation were discussed.

QS-APPLE Conference 2014 was held in Taipei (Taiwan). The conference program - Plenary sessions, cross debates, the work of five parallel sessions devoted to issues of global education, collaboration, implementation and advancement of international educational programs, marketing trends in the field of education.
