The Council of graduates of NEFU held a seminar of changes in graduate school.

In NEFU told what changes in the position of the graduate school took effect. Representative of Council of graduates of NEFU, Anna Okhlopkova, graduate student of law faculty ,highlighted the main aspects, the changes to the requirements of scientific publications in terms of providing the text of the dissertation, and prospects for graduate school.

The new law "On education" also touched on graduate school. "According to the new position of postgraduate education, graduate school was granted a status of tertiary education, first - undergraduate, second - specialty and master. After education graduate student must write a final qualifying work as the master, and after a successful defense will receive a diploma with the qualification of "researcher" and "teacher-researcher. The graduate has the ability to be employed teacher of high school, "- said graduate student Anna Okhlopkova.

The number of scientific articles for admission to the thesis defense. It is planned to create its own global database based on Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), which will be listed on the database level Scopus and Web of Science. Also at the seminar was told that dissertation council will compose foreign experts. And some quantitative indicators changed, you can now appeal the assignment of a degree in 10 years.

Changes were made and the conditions of the publication of data on the thesis defense. Graduate students should send texts of dissertation two months before the defense, as to the requirements,text of scientific work to be published on the website of the organization, on the basis of which the dissertation council opened. Also on the website of the organization should be published opponents reviews and the decision of exceptance or refuse to grant the master's thesis for defense.
