The government of Russia plans to allocate 208 billion rubles for applied scientific researches

On September 30 the Government of the Russian Federation introduced in the State Duma the bill about the federal budget for 2015 and on planning periods 2016 and 2017. For basic researches in the coming year it is planned to allocate about 130 billion rubles, on civil applied researches it twice more.

As the popular scientific newspaper "Troitsky Variant" reports, applied scientific researches in the field of national economy is the main direction for which 208 billion rubles are allocated. The main expenses under this article are related with financing of various civil space programs (about 80 billion rubles) and programs of development of the civil aircraft equipment (more than 40 billion rubles). Under this article money for financing of "Bortnik's Fund" is allocated, to this fund is planned to provide 3,9 billion rubles on stimulation of innovations. For applied researches in the field of national defense it is planned to allocate 21,6 billion rubles, health care – 21,2 billion rubles, nation-wide questions – 15,3 billion rubles, education – 14,4 billion rubles.

The federal agency of the scientific organizations became the main recipient of means of 68 billion rubles in the field of basic researches. The Russian Academy of Sciences will receive 3,6 billion rubles, reports "Troitsky Variant".

How many funds are allocated for scientific researches from the federal budget, in the draft budget it isn't specified. Only the total amount of financing which generally goes under educational articles is known. For example, to Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2015 it is planned to allocate 13 billion rubles, to St. Petersburg State University – 8,4 billion rubles.
