NEFU got free access to the Web of Science and Scopus databases

According to NEFU Research Library, North-Eastern Federal University got the right of license access to databases of international scientific citation indexing services Web of Science and Scopus.

Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology (RNPLS&T) held competitive selection by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The competition committee received more than 400 applications from research institutes, universities, and libraries.

"Daily updated databases Web of Science and Scopus include all the bibliographic references found in the publications, which allows to get the most complete bibliography on the topic of interest in a short time, said Tatyana Maksimova, Director of NEFU Research Library. - It is very important for universities, which tend to get into the top one hundred world university rankings and increase the publication activity and citation of scientists”.

Access is available from any computer of the campus network, as well as outside the university through the login and password of a domain user.

«Scopus» is a bibliographic and abstract database to search citations of articles published in scientific journals. It covers 18,000 titles of scientific publications in technical, medical and humanities from 5000 publishers.

Web of Science is a collection of various databases that provides information on all branches of knowledge among more than 12,000 journals and 120,000 conference proceedings, more than 4400 sites for researchers and specialists.
