Residents of NEFU Small Computer Academy got an opportunity to undergo an internship at Seoul Robotics High School. They participated in NEFU joint International School, which took place from 23 to 26 June in Yakutsk, from 27 June to 4 July in Seoul (SRHS) with the support of the Institute of APEC Collaborative Education (IACE) and APEC Learning Community Builders (ALCoB).

"Yakut part of the Summer School consisted of workshops on designing and programming robots based on sets of LEGO Mindstorms, Roborobo Robokit and Arduino board led by students and teachers of NEFU Institute of Mathematics and Information Science. Pupils and students also acquainted with the presentation of Maksim Maksimov, a student of the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), about Korean robots ", said Vasily Maksimov, the Director of NEFU Small Computer Academy.

Students and pupils of summer school with support of their Korean age mates acquainted with programming of robots in C and mastered the techniques of air robots control. The company Robotis shown the latest developments of this world famous company and held practical training with the robot kits to the summer school participants.

One day of summer school was devoted to a visit of robot Park, Korea Electronics Technology Institute KETI, FASTECH and YUJIN Robot companies.

"A short, but intensive cultural part of the summer school included acquaintance with the sights of the capital of the Republic of Korea, Seoul, visiting of museums and Nantes Theater. On the last day of summer school, the participants with great interest visited the presentations of Konzhu National University on gifted children and the Korea Development Institute, the robot industry and the development of robotics in Korea ", said the director of NEFU SCA.

At the Closing Ceremony, 20 Russian, 3 American and 49 Korean pupils, students and teachers were awarded the certificates of participation in the IV International Summer School on IT and Robotics, NEFU.
