On July 7, International research and practical conference "Leadership in the World of Sustainable Development through Educational Values" began at NEFU. The event will cover issues of international cooperation in the field of educational technologies and exchange innovative strategies, ways of educational values integration ​​to the global information space.

"The subject of leadership in the world of sustainable development through educational values ​​is very important. North-Eastern Federal University widely promotes and implements the principle of education throughout life. The university's mission is to graduate highly skilled specialists, leaders of development of Northeastern Russia. I am sure that this conference will make the necessary contribution to the further work of the university", said Mikhail Fedorov, NEFU Pro-rector for Pedagogical Education. Pro-rector also acquainted the guests with the activities of the university.

The conference was attended by a delegation of the International Association of Teachers (ITA: International Teachers Association). The delegation includes representatives from nine countries: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Bulgaria, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. They represent educational institutions of their countries: universities, schools, colleges, Boards of Education.
